Jessi loves being a therapist and believes it is sacred work to be trusted with the truth of another's vulnerability, story, and hopes. She has a passion for working with adults with relational/complex trauma, grief, cycle breakers, evolving identities, parents, and those in liminal places who are yearning to walk a more authentic path. Jessi has expertise in supporting those navigating the complexity of divorce, acute and chronic health conditions, and those parenting children with multilayered needs. She understands the nuance and hurt that comes with having family members with mental health and addiction struggles and the pain of family estrangement. Jessi has a commitment to being an accomplice in anti-racism work and with the LGBTQ+ community, working with accountability partners to continue learning and growing. She has experience and comfort with polyamory, non-traditional relationship and family styles, and is kink informed.

As an integrative therapist, Jessi draws from extensive training in attachment, trauma, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, and Sand Tray Therapy. Jessi loves to incorporate the research-based mind-body practices of Interpersonal Neurobiology and Somatic Experiencing, as well as the material from her completed certificate program in Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy into sessions with clients.

In addition to her private psychotherapy practice, Jessi has worked as a therapist and mindfulness coordinator at a university counseling center, clinical director in a group therapy practice, personal counselor in an international school, mindfulness and meditation instructor, school-based therapist for marginalized and high-risk students, and in psychiatric hospitals. For many years, Jessi held certification as a Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor and now uses that experience with her clients who are also parents.

When not seeing clients, Jessi can be found reading one of the many books on her nightstand, exploring the outdoors with her two children, snuggling with her two rescue dogs, working in her little garden, and laughing and creating rituals with her friends.
